Yoga Teacher Training
​The 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training is the next step of the yoga journey-it isn't just for the student ready to teach. It is for the student ready to deepen their personal practice. It is one of those rare trainings that spill into our everyday lives. A training that gives a renewed sense of purpose, connection, and action that will benefit you, your work, and your relationships for life.

This Transformational Yoga Journey is designed to transform your life whether you would like to teach yoga or to simply develop a deeper connection with yourself. Please keep in mind this program primary focus is learning to teach yoga. During our 12 modules together we will explore:​

100 hrs Techniques, Training and Practice : Ayurveda- the sister science to Yoga. Learn how to design classes for student's constitution and create balance. -doshas, gunas, prakriti, vrikriti,. Understanding the Chakra System

34 hrs Teaching Methodology: sequencing, theming, using voice projection, demoing/non-demo. Yin, hot, vinyasa, hatha, &, restorative.

10 hrs Anatomy & Physiology: Understanding Muscles,Bones, Alignment, working with minor injuries and brief journey into the meridians.

26 hrs Yoga Philosophy/Ethics/Lifestyle: pranayama, koshas, chakras, yoga sutras, and meditation. Business of yoga.

10 hrs. Practicum

Example of a typical day:

7:30am -9:00am - morning practice themed to lecture/module topics
9:00am-9:15am - silent journaling
9:15am - 11:15am learning alignment/queuing/practice teaching/asana
11:15am-Noon-lecture
Noon-1pm - lunch
1pm - 2:15pm – meditation/lect-cont./practice teaching
2:15pm - 3:45pm - yin/restorative/yoga nidra
4:00pm - closing circle
